Essential Microsoft Excel Shortcuts

Here are some of the most useful shortcuts to help you work more efficiently in Microsoft Excel:

Navigation and Selection

  • Go to a specific cell: Ctrl + G

  • Select the entire worksheet: Ctrl + A

  • Select the current row: Ctrl + Shift + Space

  • Select the current column: Ctrl + Shift + Down Arrow

Editing and Formatting

  • Undo the last action: Ctrl + Z

  • Redo the last action: Ctrl + Y

  • Cut selected cells: Ctrl + X



  • Copy selected cells: Ctrl + C

  • Paste copied cells: Ctrl + V

  • Bold selected text: Ctrl + B

  • Italicize selected text: Ctrl + I
